Garden high bar installation
Garden high bar installation for calisthenics or Crossfit
The high bar is designed for gymnastic rings. It's 12ft out of the ground, meaning you can perform straight body muscle ups. The pull up bar is our standard height at 8ft. We use 6x6 posts for this installation, ensuring the extra height doesn't mean a loss of stability. It can also house other attachments such as a climbing rope and hammock.
Once we're on site, we lay the bars on the floor and agree the positioning before we start digging.
We use 150x150mm timber posts that are pressure treated and have a pyramid top to ensure a long life. The high bar posts are 15ft tall, with 12ft out of the ground.
Please note this is too high to also be used a pull up bar.
