Garden monkey bars and pull up bar installation for calisthenics or Crossfit
We've designed these monkey bars specifically for bodyweight training. At 125cm, they're much wider than children's monkey bars, meaning they can be used as pull up bars. There's also enough space between each bar for clean muscle ups. The side bars are 4.4cm and can double as a thick pull up bar, for when you're training your grip strength.
These monkey bars are fixed with a combination of M12 coach screws and M12 bolts, that go all the way through the post, to ensure they stay really strong in future years.
Once we're on site, we lay the bars on the floor and agree the positioning before we start digging.
Our bars are perfect for calisthenics and Crossfit. They're load tested to 300kg and can handle kipping muscle ups, toes to bar, etc with ease.
We use 125x125mm timber posts that are pressure treated and have a pyramid top to ensure a long life. The pull up bar posts are 10ft tall, with 8ft out of the ground.
